It feels weird to start our first company blog post by launching into all the products and services we provide, so first, let’s welcome you to . . . (musical fanfare) . . . The National Etching Blog. As a matter of introduction, National Etching is located in beautiful Issaquah, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. What do we do? Quite simply, lots of fun stuff. We specialize in etching glass, so we can etch company logos, customized artwork or your specific text onto a variety of crystal and glass products. Etching is a very “hands on” process and we see ourselves as craftspeople who take the time and care to produce exceptional work for our clients. We aren’t satisfied unless our clients are satisfied. Anyone can say that, but once you get to know us, you’ll see it’s true!
What is etching as opposed to printing on glass? We use pressurized abrasive material to eat away, or etch the surface of glass. This produces permanent frosted marks on the glass. But unlike printing, etching won’t fade over time with multiple dishwasher washings. Etching lasts as long as the glass itself, and once you see the result and feel it, you’ll be hooked! That’s why we all work here—we happen to believe that etched glass is really cool! OK, ok, that sounds a bit dorky, but seriously, we have fun with our clients and enjoy working on the wide variety of great ideas they come up with.
As time goes on, I’d encourage you to keep checking this blog. We’ll post ideas our customers have had and photos of the products we’ve generated for them to help spur your ideas for the perfect gift. To start with, here’s a quick list of some of the things we’ve been etching in the past few weeks:
- Riedel crystal wine glasses for Red Sky Winery in Woodinville, Washington
- Customized pint glasses and growlers for home brewers
- Wine glasses for Joey Restaurant and Lounge in Bellevue, Washington
- Awards for Seattle’s Sloop Tavern Yacht Club
- Dog treat jars and pint glasses with dog images that we have posted on Amazon and are sending all over the country
So take a look around the website to get an idea of the types of products we offer. If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, give us a call at 1-800-932-9273 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and you can tell us exactly what you’re looking for.
