Hear about Martha Stewart’s Chow Chow, Genghis Khan, winning Best in Breed Monday? Quite the achievement, but with the name it made me wonder . . . I’m sure Genghis is a well behaved dog, but every dog gets into mischief once in a while, right? What do you think Martha does when that happens? I’m guessing she musters up her best William Shatner Star Trek imitation and yells “KHAAAAAAANNN!” Ya think?
Well, our congrats to Martha and Genghis and all the Westminster winners. As the show festivities wind down, National Etching is happy to now have etched designs for all six of the latest new breeds recognized this year by the Westminster Kennel Club. As of today we’ve added the Entlebucher Mountain Dog, Finnish Lapphund and Norwegian Lundehund. We also couldn’t resist including the Chow Chow to celebrate Martha’s win. (Etched Glass designs for the other three breeds, the American English Coonhound, Cesky Terrier and Xoloitzcuintli were released a couple of days ago.)
All of the designs look fabulous on our handsome treat jars and pint glasses, but don’t let that limit your imagination. If you look though our site and decide you want an etched Riedel wine glass, etched glass award or any other product with a specific dog breed, let us know. We’re happy to get you exactly what you want.
And as a reminder for all the dog lovers out there, if you’re looking for etched glass items and you don’t see the specific breed you’re interested in, give us a call. National Etching is always looking to expand our dog related etched glass product lines. Watch for more designs coming soon, including a design for this year’s Best in Show, the Pekingese.
